The whole gang is here. The Kehano's came from Kula, Lahela from town. Chris and Shanny Tuitele and kids from Washington DC via Honolulu. And all of the rest of us that live on Maui. The food was fabulous and it was quite the riot as it usually is when we get together. Elias said he could hear us from Aliikoa when they first turned in our road. I think he was exaggerating a bit..............

I love how my Akinaka family always takes the time to have a birthday dinner (with dessert... mua, ha, ha). That was such a nice evening. Good food and cruisin with family and friends... it doesn't get any better. Thanks all for making Kamalei and I feel so special!
For some reason, that none of us know yet, God put us all here on earth together, as a family unit. Together we go through the challenges of life and when it is all done we can enjoy each other having weathered the storms of life together. You and Kamalei are very special, and we would be lost without you.........Aloha Pops
